- Sorcerors of the Magic Kingdom, an interactive game, debuted at the Magic Kingdom
- Disneyland Paris celebrated its 20th anniversary
- Snow White's Scary Adventures ride in Magic Kingdom closed to make way for part of the new Fantasyland
