- Inside Out, Good Dinosaur, Tomorrowland, and the live action Cinderella all debuted in theaters
- Descendants premiered on the Disney Channel and Muppets returned to weekly TV
- The sorceror's hat was demolished at Hollywood Studios, removing a major icon from the park and freeing up the view of the Great Movie Ride
- Disneyland celebrated its 60th anniversary
- We started planning our WDW trip!
